Cotton Rag paper, pins, dimensions variable.

In her series Skin & Bone, Lauren Simmonds uses cut paper, light and shadow to create deliberately ambiguous, symmetrical sculptures.

The forms in Skin & Bone take on mask-like qualities, emerging from the walls in a manner both dreamy and menacing.
