Flashlight is a live artwork akin to a game of hide and seek between audience and performer. Exploring the theme of transformation through an ever changing and shifting form, this work is literally a shedding of skin, of removing layers to reveal the unseen. Lauren uses her body and materials in a process of both creating and destroying, the process of evolution.
All photography by Theresa Harrison aside from three photos featuring the bubbles by Jillian Farrar.
